Mike Bennett
After obtaining a Degree in Chemistry followed by a Postgraduate Management Diploma, Mike worked for a number of years in several companies within the BTR Group, gaining broad based experience in personnel and training.
He then joined the Wilkinson Sword Group where his last appointment before moving into consultancy was as Human Resources Director with Pains Wessex Limited.
He joined a specialist recruitment consultancy in 1986 and spent four years as a Director before establishing Mike Bennett Associates in 1990.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development, and author of European Conditions of Employment Sourcebook – a guide to employment legislation in 16 European Countries, now into its fifth edition.
Richard Brasher
Richard’s early career was spent in British Oxygen, Raytheon and Cape.
He was a Director of MKA Search and Selection for 18 years before joining Mike Bennett Associates in 2003. Richard has extensive experience of senior level recruitment across a wide range of market sectors including construction and engineering.
Gill Edmonds
Following an HNC in Business Studies, Gill worked in personnel management in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and design, and the public sector. Gill has wide in-line personnel experience and her last full time appointment was as a Personnel Manager of a company employing over 500 people.
She worked for 10 years as a Director of a small computer company, before returning to consultancy with Mike Bennett Associates.
Steve Sheppard
Steve has over 15 years’ experience as a consultant. He has designed and delivered programmes for a wide range of organisations.
He has an MA in Management Learning from the University of Lancaster and previous line experience with Wilkinson Sword Group, Pye Telecommunications, Chrysler UK and Twinlock.
Christine Bennett
Christine has an English degree and an MA plus a post-graduate teaching qualification. She has many years’ experience of running courses in the private and public sector, especially in-house Communication skills courses. Organisations she has worked for include computing and engineering firms, scientific research establishments, the Open University and a number of colleges.
Dave Higgins
Dave has been at the forefront of training and development throughout his career. He has held positions at the highest level of Human Resources and was director of management development with a European IT manufacturer for 4 years based in Italy. He was also Director of Training for three years in Toronto.
In the UK Dave has driven numerous senior and middle management development programmes in BT Cellnet and ICO Global - a satellite telecoms company. His last corporate role was as Director of Training and Development for an international telecoms organisation.
Steve Drew
Steve studied Modern Languages at University and subsequently worked in HR roles in Companies in both the manufacturing and service sectors. He held HR Director positions in Cape plc, Avon Rubber plc and Alstom Transport UK with his last role as Head of HR for the Corporate area of National Air Traffic Services.
Steve has extensive experience of HR management and is a member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
