Our Approach
At a first meeting we take a full brief and then write a proposal. We outline our approach and understanding of the role, together with a candidate and job profile, plus details of costs.
We’ll give you guidance on the appropriate benefits package and we’ll talk about any factors which may affect the whole process. We’ll also include recommendations on the best recruitment method for the position. This is likely to be one of the following methods - or a combination of approaches:
- Search This is an appropriate method when a high level of confidentiality is needed or when you are looking for specialist skills and experience. Our research associates identify and contact potential candidates. After initial telephone discussions the consultant contacts interested clients for a more in-depth telephone interview. We then report back to our client and agree an interview programme to be conducted by the consultant. Following an interview report meeting we arrange client interviews and we manage the offer to successful candidates.
- Advertising We recommend media, produce copy for your approval and handle all the associated administration. After analysing the response we meet with you to discuss a short list of candidates who meet the profile. A consultant interview programme is agreed with the client and full interview reports are produced. Following an interview report meeting, client interviews are arranged, and we support you until a final appointment is made.
- Database We may already be in contact with well qualified candidates and we’re always happy to undertake a review of our candidate database, free of charge, with fees only being payable on appointment.
- European Recruitment As part of the Sirium international group with offices in France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic, we can provide an effective recruitment service in Europe. Projects are co-ordinated from the UK but we use experienced local consultants who are part of this network.
References
We’ll take up references on your behalf, if required, and we’ll continue to support the candidate until they are well established in the organisation.
Testing
We can arrange psychometric testing if this is required.
Confidentiality
If the recruitment is confidential we will ensure that our client’s identity is not revealed to candidates without their agreement.
